DECENT Attends The First Major Blockchain Conference in Vietnam

Over 300 professionals in Tech, Finance and Marketing met during Vietnam Blockchain Week, an event organized by Infinity Blockchain Labs in order to expand their knowledge and networks. The conference took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on March 7th & 8th, 2018 and hosted 1,500 participants, 50 speakers, over 500 companies and included presentations from 15 case studies.

In a panel about P2P trading marketplaces and smarter transactions, Matej Michalko, Founder, CEO and President of DECENT, had the opportunity to spread the word about enabling transactions from cash only customers, a topic closely related to DECENT’s project ALAX, their joint venture with game distribution platform Dragonfly, which is set to transform the gaming industry around the world.

During the discussion, Michalko explained how DECENT uses blockchain technology and their DCore platform to bring better distribution, easier payments, and integrated user rewards for companies and projects across multiple industries.

The success of this conference puts Vietnam in the driver’s seat as they are building an important position in the world’s information and communication industry (ICT). Empowering blockchain and 4.0 technologies was a key theme of the event and has proved to be one of the largest gatherings of blockchain experts so far this year, and DECENT was honored to be a part of it.
