The beginning of the new year is a perfect time to share some incredible news. BlockShow Europe 2017 is approaching by leaps and bounds, and the CoinTelegraph Events team have several interesting and important updates for you.

BlockShow & Rainmaking Innovation: Not Just Partnership

The most important BlockShow update of last week was a new partner joining the conference – Rainmaking Innovation.

Rainmaking Innovation is a global Innovation Consulting & Startup Acceleration platform; supported by a collective of serial entrepreneurs, the company builds up a whole network of where startups and corporates come together to build and scale new businesses. Today, Rainmaking Innovation activities cover more than 30 countries, while the company itself collaborates with some of the world’s leading brands, educational institutions and governments.

Elizabeth Lumley, Managing Director, Thought Leadership at Rainmaking Innovation, has also joined BlockShow Europe 2017 as a Master of Ceremony – CoinTelegraph Events announced that last Tuesday.  Liz Lumley is an internationally recognized reporter, conference speaker and organizer with more than 20 years of being involved in the FinTech space. Apart from that, she is she is also a regular contributor to Brett King’s Breaking Banks radio show on the VoiceAmerica Business channel.

Angel Gonzalez, Executive Specialist at IBM

IT specialist with more than a decade of professional background. Taking different roles while working with IBM for years, Angel broadened his activity to such topics as Big Data, Analytics, Blockchain, IoT, Industry 4.0 & more. Currently he works in IBM Research & Development as an Architect for Analytics, Internet of Things and Blockchain.

At BlockShow Europe 2017, Angel Gonzalez will be one of the panelists during the “Overcoming the Challenges of Blockchain Implementation” panel discussion.

Tomasz Mloduchowski, co-founder & CTO at Zerado

Tomasz has been involved in the Bitcoin & Blockchain ecosystem since 2009 through his various commercial and social ventures. Being a co-founder & CTO at Zerado, a London-based process consultancy firm, he provides insights on the impact that Blockchain can offer to the finance, Banking health and identity markets.

At BlockShow Europe 2017, Tomasz Mloduchowski will appear during the “Established Blockchain Solutions” presentation, where he will be representing Digital Identity sector.

Jack Nikogosian, Head of Coinify Digital Innovation Lab

Jack is a professional with the great interest in FinTech, Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain. He is also famous as Bitcoin Jack for his experiment of living just on Bitcoin for a month. Currently Jack is a Head of Coinify Digital Innovation Lab, which goal is to create a range of proof of concepts that will form the basis for the development of specific products and services.

At BlockShow Europe 2017, Jack Nikogosian will appear during the “Established Blockchain Solutions” presentation, where he will be representing Remittance sector.

Daniel Drummer, Vice President at JP Morgan

Before taking his position at JP Morgan, Daniel Drummer was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising global banks, asset managers, hedge funds and private equity funds. He is focusing on digital technologies and disruptive innovation, having been part of McKinsey & Company’s Big Data and advanced analytics group.

At BlockShow Europe 2017 Daniel will speak on “Blockchain from Bank perspective” and share the insights and vision on the Blockchain implementation.

Paolo Tasca, Executive Director, UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies

FinTech economist specialising in P2P Financial System. An advisor for different international organisations including the EU Parliament on blockchain technologies, Paolo recently joined the University College London as Director of the Centre for Blockchain Technologies. Prior to that, he has been a senior research economist at Deutsche Bundesbank working on digital currencies and P2P lending. Paolo is the co-author of the bestseller “FINTECH Book” and the co-editor of the book “Banking Beyond Banks and Money”.

At BlockShow Europe 2017 Paolo will be speaking on “The Current State of the Blockchain”.
