UPDATECointivity & Faucet Update April 2019We have rolled out several changes to Cointiply, including changes to our faucet, our faucet jackpot, new Cointivity items, new Cointivity Collections, Cointivity inventory management, Cointivity Pods, a bunch of server-related improvements, and we're increasing the number of Cointivity Points you can earn playing our CointiPlay multiplier game.
Cointiply's Progressive Jackpot: We have made the jackpot on our Cointiply faucet progressive! It now starts at 100,000 Coins for all members, and increases 1 Coin for every spin on the faucet across the site. It will continue to increase until someone wins, at which point it will reset to 100,000 Coins. Good luck!
CointiPlay Cointivity Points: We are radically increasing the number of Cointivity Points you can earn playing our CointiPlay multiplier game. You will now earn 50 Cointivity Points for every 10,000 Coins you play in our game, win or lose. That's an increase of 50X!
New Cointivity Items: We have added 22 new Cointivity items. For those who enjoy the underlying story, you'll find gear from Novacel and TriStar Industries alike, in addition to other new items.
New Cointivity Collections: We added three new Collections that include an entirely new kind of boost. The new collections are called:
Things that Go Boom:
Made from Cointivity items on the more volatile side, when completed and collected, this Collection will boost your earnings by 3% for 90 hours!
Good Luck:
This is going to be a hard Collection to complete, but the rewards are wowza: 7% on offerwalls for 24 hours.
Zap It!:
When you complete this collection, you'll get a new item that gives you three days of protection on your Loyalty. It's perfect for taking a trip or when you know you're going to be busy. It will work in conjunction with your Premium Loyalty protection, too.
Cointivity Pods: We have increased the price of Cointivity Pods in terms of Cointivity Points. Pricing for Pods in terms of Coins remains the same. We also dramatically increased the chances of getting Rare items in each pod. Common Pods now have a 1% for each item to be Rare (up from 0.1%); Uncommon Pods have a 5% chance of each item being Rare (up from 2%); and Rare Pods have a 10% of each item being rare (up from 5%). All increases came from the Common item chances.
These changes were made in part to support the introduction of Cointiply Rewards. We don't like to pre-announce new features, but we weren't quite able to squeeze Rewards into this update. Regardless, you'll be able to redeem your Cointivity Points for physical goods—and we hope to add this in the next few days.
Cointiply Faucet:In addition, we are decreasing faucet payouts across all geographical locations. We are still here to stay for many years and have exciting new features planned for the near future. This was a hard decision based on the reality of advertising in the crypto space. We have been paying out more than 4X our nearest premium competitor, and we'll still be paying out more than anyone else—and that's without counting the progressive jackpot. We would also like to note that our faucet is not weighted. Every spin is a fair random number, and every spin is independent from other spins. Someone wins the jackpot almost every day. Many other faucets offer high payout for numbers you can never hit, making them meaningless.
