The Wanted System FAQ

Building a safer community, together.

How are you going to guarantee tips are anonymous?

By using stealth addresses and creating the option of encrypted messages, information providers will be able to stay anonymous and safe from repercussions.

Is your coin going to be anonymous?

We are committed to providing our users with anonymity.  Therefore, it is a primary goal to develop a coin with the option of stealth addresses.

If people are rewarded for creating a campaign, what stops them from spamming the system with them?

Campaigns are vetted and approved by internal review and the appropriate law enforcement or civilian authority.

What makes the Wanted System better than the traditional rewards system for suspect apprehension?

The Wanted System guarantees the option for anonymity, allows for more transparency, and is faster than traditional methods.

Is the Wanted Systems project the first of its kind?  Has this been attempted before?

To our knowledge, no one has attempted to create a tip and reward system on the blockchain before.

Why not just create an erc-20 token?

We do not believe the Ethereum network would be capable of providing the anonymity or robust network we believe we will require.

Will XWS be inflationary?

The max supply of the Wanted Coin (XWS) is 50,000,000

What use cases will you have?

The Wanted System is intended to provide users with the ability to provide tips and be rewarded on that system for tips.  However, in the future, we plan to pursue the development of many applications.

What is going to happen with the Pre-Mine?

2% Of the Pre-Mine will go to the Founders, the remaining 8% will be used to pay team members, marketing, licensing, development and general overhead.

How are you going to prove your coins are burned?

The coin burn will be documented in the Github repo. https://github.com/thewantedsystem

This is a unique idea in this space.

For a member to create campaigns anonymously, without fear of backlash from undesirables, and work with law enforcement, bail bondsmen, etc . . . and then have the member get rewarded in XWS coins . . . this could be a great niche to hit for an ICO and platform.  To the best of my knowledge, I have not seen a blockchain concept used in this fashion.

How are the validity of the campaigns verified?  Surely, we would not want someone to create a false campaign.

Looking forward to following this project.

The validity of the campaigns are achieved by the grading system. The range is a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being bogus, 10 being solid leading to capture.  So let's say its a 5, then that would be consider medium quality lead, let's say a bond jumper has been seen in Madison, WI in the past 30 days.

The grades will be the key to validating, tracking, logging and processing all tips coming thru the wanted system.

A very unique and meaningful project, but because of anonymity, i wondered if the system will be misused, such as the defamation.

Validated tips will be used in regards to those that have warrants out for them and did not show up for court. There won't be campaigns based on information that is not proven / spam. It will be up to the authorities to decide what tips are bogus and then counter checked by the civic group.

Since it is anonymous the information will not be available publicly.  In regards to publishing info for campaigns,  it will be published if there is validity and in that case it is already public knowledge.

The project sounds interesting...  Please where can I check up on the team list for The Wanted System project

We'll be publishing the list of the team at time of ICO (since we are adding people still).

Very interesting. What measures will you implement to make the process more, "user friendly" for the general public who have no crypto. experience?

The public's interaction will be done in fiat for the most part, we're discussing ways now to accept payment and sell tokens to use the system. It will be as easy as any other internet purchase to participate.
