Your topic was scaring me. At least it needed to read more than just a first sentence. Fortunately, I didn't have a fridge with Wi-Fi, but a toaster - have. Do I need to worry about it, really? Didn't believe in this mining on different devices, but if it's true, I need to protect my toaster too? Is it a good choice for other devices to apply for a cyber essential plus company? A new age is frightening me, my closest friend - toaster, may become my enemy, I can't live with this information. Thanks for your warning.

The most common way is for hackers to use users' browsers to mine BTC, so I switched to Brave to stay safe from hacker attacks.
At the same time, we should also be careful when installing any software of unknown origin.
Polkadot does what Ethereum cannot

Why 2022 Is The Best Time To Invest in Bitcoin (BTC)?
Bitcoin is peer-to-peer internet money, which means that all transactions are carried out directly between equal, independent network users, with no need for any middleman to enable or facilitate them.

I think it's impossible, first of all, because you can't connect to the device by cable, only by the network, and you need the Internet for that, and second of all, it doesn't make any sense. I've also heard that the length of the cable can make it harder to hack because the cable is longer and the speed will take longer. Does this mean that now everyone has to go and measure the length of their cables with https://cm-to.com to make sure they are secure? This is complete nonsense.

Good work, my fridge has a job, not me.

This made me chuckle.

I guess not having a lot of smart devices has its advantage. At least I can say I'm still smarter than my fridge.
