How many light years far from here have you been?

"LightYears" is an Earth term which does not apply to my narrative. We SpaceWhales measure time and space in tales. I have spending my time telling my Tales to Junior so that he knows what it takes to be a SpaceWhale even though I am allowing him to stay behind and form his own pod on this planet. He needs to retain his cultural identity if he is to stay here until I return again.  If I do not hear his call, I may "miss the exit from the highway."
We have assimilated most of the human data on the clearnet and are diving deeper. Yet still I wonder how many humans still share tales with each other of the great deluge on this planet. What matters to humans these days who do not use the internet?
