Crypto Discussion / Re: Bittrex problems
« on: October 14, 2017, 06:27:25 AM »
This is added layer of security which is necessary nowadays with all the hackers. Pretty sure it is called 3FA which I think all websites should start doing

new to here as well. so its different than BTC. but what about time you have to wait between posts? or posting links and images?

No limitation for new account. All is fine, just don't spam.

Tell that to the new kid on the block "AlisaTofal". Just saw him quoting himself in a thread, if that is not spam I dont know what it is. I do like that there is

no limitation on accounts here though, fresh change of pace!

Crypto Discussion / Re: How do you decide where to invest your money?
« on: October 05, 2017, 06:09:03 AM »

You need to invest in what you are sorting out, for example, read a white paper, learned all the pluses and minuses of ICO, collected reviews and only then invest
Of course! white paper and bounty campain

Are you fucking serious right now? How lame do you have to be to quote yourself? Holy shit get a life buddy..

now the rate is high and I think it's necessary to wait for the period when it drops and only then invest

You are gonna be a skeleton if you wait any longer mate. Seriously I doubt it will ever reach 3k again like it did with the China FUD. I think we are poised

for another breakout and bull-run one that will push Bitcoin well past the 5k mark. These are just my opinions and thoughts, I just don think the price gets

much cheaper than where it currently is now.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon started to criticize bitcoins few weeks ago and it gave everybody mixed reactions. Some of the biggest names in Wall Street and even CEOs are now weighing in; some say it’s good, they would most likely incorporate bitcoin in the business and some say it’s bad and it is just a bubble. Could this be the factor that could either make or break companies?

I do not think this is just their opinion

Care to elaborate? What do you think about their position then...

Crypto Discussion / Re: It's a tough week for Bitcoin
« on: October 05, 2017, 06:03:11 AM »
Bitcoin has taken a hard hit in the past and still rebounded. Do not think there will be a quick bounce back but it will come. Think Russia may replace China for bitcoin demand.
That is right, bitcoin is sure to bounce back from falling down but it would take time. China may have chosen to stay away from it but others would be there to pick it up and discover how they can benefit from it. It would make a comeback soon enough.
I still do not understand the position of China, but exactly bitcoin will gradually grow

Try not thinking about it from an ICO or investor perspective. Those are the reasons they used for what they did but what does their statement really say?

I think it really goes to show that the controlling communist government of China simply cannot control cryptocurrencies and this worries them. Worried

so much that they had to go and ban ICOs. Outside the box thought, but worth a consider I think

10% pos a year is very low... maybe it will be increased in the future?

Not if supply is correct, but yeah I would agree it seems a bit low here for such high supply

So the point of this is to be currency for London? That sounds far-fetched to me

10
Well you can be sure if big institutional money like that comes in, it will certainly make a lot of companies whole! It is funny how quickly they flipped their

stance on cryptocurrencies. I believe I said that they knew what they were doing and the FUD was just an attempt to lower the bitcoin price. That is why

MAR (market abuse regulation in Europe) applied for a complaint against JP CEO. Well now look who joins the train, funny stuff  ::)

11
Well in hindsight everything is 20 20 so yeah of course they should have waited to sell! But in all seriousness they were not in the game to play the market

they just seized the coins and were always going to instant auction them. Could you imagine the US government speculating on bitcoin while SEC views it

negatively? Not a pretty picture and also one that is not plausible either.

Crypto Discussion / Re: "BITCOIN is like going to Vegas" - Tony Robinson

Honestly after seeing it was written by CNBC I instantly disregarded it and I would advise you do the same. They are literally reporting on something they

do not understand fully. That is like going to the ice cream truck and asking for some home grilled chicken. The dude will look at you like your nuts, just as

how you should view CNBC covering god damn cryptocurrencies. I do get a few good giggles from these articles though fwiw so all is not lost

Crypto Discussion / Re: How to combat the surge in scam ICOs
« on: October 02, 2017, 11:03:18 PM »
Sure regulation will help combat scammy ICOs in general but can we not protect ourselves? I think the best defense against scam ICOs is to do tons of

research and figure it out for yourself. This is not me saying I do not like the way things are going but rather we as humans should be more accountable ourselves.

It was only a matter of time before ICOs began getting regulated, look at how much money they are raising!
