Hey all, as you know the Cryptopia problem have been resolved, we have requested within time but these stuff happens unfortunately, all your coins are safe, but the Cryptopia error have other parallel consequences like another Goku chain (the one that they created by not updating the Wallet on time) so.... surely this our job now to fix the problem they have caused, many of you are in discord have voted for the new specs that add more super blocks in exchange with the longer block time, Goku name will need to be changed too, so we will have to fork at block TBA, adding super blocks, re branding to Go-Ku Coin [Go-Ku] and compiling the last round of wallets. We understand that this being a pain in the but with too many updates and forks, we are just try to iron out all the problems we find as we go along to make the coin stable and great for the community, most other coins don's have these updates and normally cause developers just to sell premine and run, but i bet that you would be surprised if you check how many updates other great coins do, so stay tuned because wallets will be released way before the fork will happen to be sure that everyone have the correct version at the point of the fork, exchanges will also be advised with one months noticed, and we will double check this time that everything is in order. thank you for your compression and support, together we will just grow stronger as we iron out all the obstacles in the way.

I bought Goku coin on Nova and sent it to Coinexchange. It never arrived. I just read the front page and realize it's the old chain. Is there any way to get back my coins? Please help developer. Please guide a noob here about how to install the update. I backed up my wallet, deleted the roaming files for the old wallet plus the download file. I then installed the new wallet, closed it, and copy pasted the backup dat file into the roaming files of the new wallet. After restart, I have not seen my coins. Please help
Is the wallet in sync? If not, it will be a while until your coins will show up.

I checked my GOKU wallet and suddenly it displayed a message at the bottom: Synchronizing with network: 587 blocks remaining. Why did it go out of synch like that? It was ok before that. I do have the latest version of the wallet.

there is an issue with the official windows wallet v1300
that has caused a problem fork.
Users must be on the same height as this explorer

1. I just want to make sure that if there's a fork coming up (as stated above) that those of us using the "funky version" won't get screwed by the upcoming fork.

You will not need to update the wallet after the latest fork.
However the wallet you mentioned is an old one. GokuV1.4 is the current version.
It still has the funky colors now in 3 varieties they are just cosmetic and are the same wallet.

Thanks for the reply. I'm running one of the three v1.4 "funky versions" and it's running fine. But the issue is that the latest Windows wallet on Github is NOT v1.4. Are you saying that the v1301 wallet, which is the latest version on Github, should not be used by anyone? If so, the dev should probably remove it and make it very clear to all on where to get the latest and official wallet, as well as correct his statement that I quoted above stating that either wallet (v1301 OR v1.4) could be used.

Under v1400 I see two files: Source Code ZIP and a Source Code TAR file. No Windows or Mac compiled wallets.

The Goku team is certainly very chaotic and seemingly unorganized, but to be honest I simply like the activity level of the team. I haven't seen this in a hyperstaking coin. They actually have a clear roadmap and a solid vision. They're probably new to leading crypto projects, but I would say for a beginner, they are certainly doing a great job. I'm sure they will eventually learn to focus and organize things better.

I agree with you here. While it is not a major undertaking to update one wallet, it still takes time and once you have a lot of wallets with staking coins, it becomes rather annoying when a coin needs too many mandatory updates. Please dear Dev team, keep it to an absolute minimum and be clear about your development / roadmap. In my opinion, this is a good project with potential; you want to avoid annoying (potential) investors.

We apologies for the confusion, please remember this coin has only been reborn since last month.
As such a lot of the discussion and news has been located on Discord with the team only recently branching out as the coin has become so popular. The addition to the team should hopefully resolve some of the communication issues outside of discord.
I will make a personal effort to expand the social media side of Goku coin in order to bring you the latest news quicker and easier.

goku-pool.selfip.com refuses to connect. Is it that they need to update? Ditto with Lychee Pool. I didn't lose much (seriously, it was only 5 GOKU), but nothing came through from them. Oh well.

You will need to wait untill cryptopia sorts out your problem as it is on there end.
Transaction id is not on explorer because it is on the old chain.
As far as I am aware they are still sorting the issue in a few cases.

Also, add a "gokucoin.conf" file in this folder and fill it with the contents posted by @gokucoinreborn a few posts back.
