Unfortunately, Yobit is really, really slow to do something about their wallets on maintenance and sometimes they will be in maintenance for ever ...
It's always a good idea to have a second and third exchange for your coin if possible.

I've started staking ANT with 20k coins, after 3 days i get the first stake of 2k coins but unfortunately they've been discarded for the following reason:

"Generated coins must mature 510 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours."

I've read somewhere else about other cryptocurrencies that it's normal the first times and that these lost coins will be credited with the next stake (let's see). If you have more info please share.
Is it possible to calculate what's the actual supply at 288087 block? just to evaluate how far is the max supply.
With the client i've around 60/63 active connections with 2/3 days of "expecting time to earn reward" and it seems working fine.

I have two question for the dev team. I hope they read it.
1. why in the linux wallet only it is not possibile to encrypt it with a passphrase and make a backup? in the windows version it's possible. Is it enough to save the linux wallet file to restore it in case of needing?
2. why in the linux wallet i have always around 5/8 connections only and in the windows wallet i have around 60/63 connections? does this difference influence the staking results? Is it possible that the two wallets (linux and windows) use a different blockchain (hardfork)?

When it was out of maintenance my coins were still not deposited. They have also ignored all my support requests.

seems they are either on a different block chain now for Ants or just not up to date - their wallet status is 311000 blocks and on my Windows wallet its 357885 (hopefully just a sync'ing issue)

Check, check and double-check if you are using YOBIT. I lost 100000 ANTS also on deposit here.
Normally if a wallet has issues the wallet will be on Maintenance at Yobit for some reason the ANT
wallet is still active but deposits/withdraws do not arrive anymore.
This has happenened recently because my last deposits (month ago) had no problems.

I have more than 220.000 ant coins, blockchain works fine, i've two wallets (windows and linux).
Yobit wallet is not syncronized, the reason is not understandable (maybe speculation inside to buy coins for cheap and sell higher later).
I hope that another exchange will take care of this great coin.
It's a real pity to leave it die.  :-\

Do you think that 10k coins could be enough to begin or do you need more?

u can still use your coins with your friends as play coins u can use them to play poker as play chips with family and friends...

I have been trying off and on for the last few hours.

i just started mine up and i picked these up within 5 minutes    these should help.

addnode=14.35.249.245:19825
addnode=80.209.237.242:51951

after you shut off your wallet and add these.  make sure you delete the peers.dat from the roaming folder so it will look at the conf for nodes.

My last withdrawal from Yobit is 30.01.2018, and after that, deposit/withdraw option always on maintenance.
Maybe if i buy some ANT again on Yobit the deposit option will be available too???
do you think it's possible?
A lot of ANT are sold everyday, maybe for staking purpose too.. or am i wrong?

I've just tried depositing 1000 ANT to my Yobit wallet (from my linux wallet), i got a lot of confirmations, so it means that the deposit reached my Yobit ANT wallet. I've just writed to Yobit to ask to do something and open again the wallet from the maintainance. The wallets and the blockchain work fine so why don't leave customers to trade it like before.  Until the end of january everything worked fine. I really hope the Yobit staff will take care of that. Yobit customers need to withdraw/deposit ANT for staking purpose too, so Yobit can earn more with commissions too, it will be fine for everyone!!!

Yobit Staff simply needs to update it, it's not so difficult, it requires only few hours if somebody takes care of that.
I really hope that they will do something soon, I have more than 2 millions coin available for trading.
I got 623 confirmations that my 1000 ANT deposit reached my Yobit ANT wallet...
They simply need to check it and credit me my deposit.
